Rev. Robert S. DeZee
Rev. Robert S. DeZee is the founder and moderator of
Ohio Christian Ministers Fellowship. The purpose of the Ohio Christian Ministers Fellowship is to serve as a fellowship for Independent Non-Denominational Christian Ministers located in the State of Ohio.
Rev. DeZee is founder of MorningStar Christian Ministry whose main purpose is lifting up the King of Kings (The Bright MorningStar)- Jesus Christ.
Rev. Robert S. DeZee is an Ordained Christian Minister, and a Licensed Wedding Officiant by the States of Ohio and West Virginia.
Here is a brief testimony of our Founder
Robert was baptized as a Catholic , and received his first communion when he was 8 yrs. old at St. Rose. Robert was 12 yrs. old when he went with his friend and his friend's mother to Lighthouse Tabernacle Full Gospel Church. He was encouraged to go to the altar call to be prayed over. They prayed and layed hands on Robert. The minister spoke a prophetic word that Robert would be used by God. After that years went by before he went back to church. Robert came from a broken home. As a young child Robert's parents married and divorced twice. The last divorce was devastating to him, because it took place while he was away at summer camp. For 2 years Robert believed in was his fault. As a teenager he was not the most popular kid in school, and struggled with his self-esteem. Robert couldn't not believe that this loving God everybody preached about wanted to reach out to him.
The Lord tugged at his heart when he was 25 yrs. old, and he had this uncontrollable hunger to find the truth. Did God exist? Where did I come from before I was born? Is God real? Does he care about me? How could a loving God love someone like me with all my faults? Robert was reading numerous books at the library, he watched different Christian television broadcasts, and eagerly listened to Christian people he worked with explain about their faith. Robert was lead to a Pentecostal Church by the hand of God. He didn't go right away. He watched their television broadcast seeking what the Lord was trying to teach him. Robert watched healing services from the late Kathryn Kuhlmann, and he wanted to used the way God used her in ministry. Robert felt he was at a crossroads in his life and I had to get to that Pentecostal Church.
Although he struggled with going to the Church he prayed for God to show him a sign that he should go to the evening service. That day was in April of 1993. Robert called the church around 3pm out of curiousity knowing that the church was probably closed, but if it was God's will for him to go that Church on that night he thought someone would answer the phone. The phone rand several times before someone answered, and Robert was in shock that someone picked up the phone. The person answering the phone was not the receptionist, an aide, janitor, or an assoc. minister it was the Bishop himself the Pastor of the Church. The church was closed, and no one was suppose to be there. That evening at the service the Bishop said, "he returned to the office to get something he forgot, he heard the phone ring, and he was going to let the answering service pick it up. Then all of a sudden he felt lead by God's spirit to answer the phone." Robert attended services that evening, and was amazed by the Love and kindness showed toward him. He was a stranger, but felt as long lost family member as soon as he step into that Church. He was prayed over at the altar call, baptized in water, and filled with the Holy Spirit that night.
After that Robert began attending church on regular basis. He felt a desire to help out, and was lead to help one of the Elders with the media ministry. Robert assisted working the sound boards in the control room, and helped with the radio broadcast. Over the years he's had several people speak to him about God using him in ministry, and how they could feel the anointing strong on him. Although he felt the Lord in his life at that time, he feared what would happen next. For years Robert continued to struggle with the call on his life, and didn't want to act on it. He went trhough several trials, and tribulations. Then realize how important it was for him to fulfill his destiny,
and finally gave in to the will of the Lord
Robert has said in 1998 God spoke to him by a dream,
“In the dream I was sitting in a the congregation at Church, service had begun, and just as the Bishop was about the preach he turned to me. He called me up to the pulpit and said, The Lord said it is your turn to preach... go ahead preach. He sat down, and I stood there. Then all of a sudden I woke up from the dream” - Rev. DeZee
