2012 The Year of Answered Prayer! 01/15/2012

As we enter 2012 we anticipate this to be "The Year of Answered Prayer"! We are 2 weeks into the new year, and many prayers have already been answered. Thanks and glory goes to God!

In 2011 we were honored to hold a "Christmas Communion Service" at Merdian Arms Living Center. We had a small choir that lead the residents in Christmas worship songs of our Lord Jesus. We say several hands raised at the end of our service for personal prayer from our group.  We thank the Lord for opening this door of opportunity, and we are excited to have been invited back in 2012 to continue to hold Church services there. It is truly an honor to be a blessing to these residents.

As Pastor of this Church I am anticipating a great move of  the Spirit of God in 2012! I'm hopeful that many prayers will be answered this year. As we left 2011 we left without the use of a building to worship our Lord and Savior even though we saw a blessing of the Lord coming into our hand. We declare and decree by faith that 2012 will be "The Year of Answered Prayer"! This great blessing we believe shall come forth inspite of the obstacles set before us. It is imperative that the Lord's will be done!

If you laid your heart felt prayers before the Lord in 2011, but failed to see that come to pass! I'm writing this especially for you today. All is not lost! This is the year your prayer shall be answered. Get ready! Get ready to be blessed! Get ready to receive your answer! Get ready to give God the Glory. Praise His name right now.

Update on Our Church Building 10/29/2011
0 Comments

The beginning of October was an exciting for us. We entered a negotiation for the Church we believe the Lord directed us to. Unfortunately our negotiations were unfruitful. After several discussions with our board and the realtor everything came to a sudden halt. The terms couldn't be agreed upon, and the seller pulled the building from the market. The building is no longer listed for sale, and it remains in the owners possession. We continue to seek the Lord's wisdom, and direction. We are prayerful that we will soon have a building to serve the Lord. We are thankful for everyone's prayers, and do kindly request that you keep this issue before the Lord.

This year is the year the Lord has made, and His vision shall come forth. We will begin our plans to launch our weekly church services as the Lord leads in the fall of 2011. We are expectantly waiting for His blessings as we have visited a place we believe He wishes for us to use to worship Him. This little church is located in Girard, Ohio, and has an occupancy of 115. We have met with the owners, and have come to an agreement. We have started our Church Building Fund, so that we can make a deposit on our New Church Building. We are earnestly seeking your support, so we can make this deposit in a timely fashion. We don't want to miss out on this opportunity that the Lord has graciously blessed us with. We would like to offer our a sincere thank you to all our ministry family that has contributed through their sincerest prayers, and support.  We are excited that the Lord's plan is coming forth, and we continue to keep an eye on the property he chosen for us to use to worship Him. If you are a visitor here today, and would like to contribute to the advancement of God's Kingdom here on earth you may do so below through paypal. Another option would be to contact Pastor DeZee directly by email or phone to make your donation. If you would like a receipt for tax purposes make sure you contact the church office, and we will get one to you asap.Thank you in advance for helping us to be a blessing to all of God's children.

We do have our plans in order to proceed once we make the deposit and take possession of the building. So, our tentative schedule would go as follows.

Tuesday - Bible Study @ 6 PM
Saturday - Youth Service @ 5 PM
Sunday - Worship @ 11 AM

Some up and coming items to mention:

Praise Band - We are currently assembling our praise and worship band. We already have a guitar player, and a keyboardist. If you play any type of musical instrument, and would like to participate feel free to let us know.

Prayer Tree - We will have a "Prayer Tree" in the sanctuary. The Bible declares that we are to "live a life of love", and that "we are to bear each other burdens". If you have prayer request we will ask that you fill out a prayer card. It will be placed on the "Prayer Tree", and after service we ask that you take a prayer card from the tree with you lifting that request before the Lord for that week.

Gospel Concerts - We have 2 gospel artists that are interested in performing concerts for us. So, in the 2012 we hope to have 2 Gospel Concerts. Admission will be FREE! Although we will take a "Love Offering" to support their ministry.

Food Pantry - We plan on having a small food pantry. If you are in need or no someone that is we invite you take a bag of grocery items to see you through that week. We also will take any items that could donate to this food pantry. Our economy has been hit hard, and there are many in need of food.

We make an official announcement when we move in, and confirm our schedule. Until then just plan on coming out to worship the Lord with us.

"You always have a home to worship the Lord here at MorningStar"

If you ever feel like you can't be used by God as His servant remember this!

Noah was a drunk, Abraham was too old

Isaac was a dreamer, Jacob was a liar

Leah was ugly, Joseph was abused

Moses had a stuttering problem, Gideon was afraid

Samson had long and was a womanizer

Rahab was a prostitute, Timothy was too young

David had an affair and was a murderer

Elijah was suicidal, Isaiah preached naked

Jonah ran from GOD, Naomi was a widow

Job went bankrupt, John the Baptist ate bugs

Peter denied CHRIST, the disciples fell asleep while praying

Martha worried about everything, the Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once

Zaccheus was short, Paul was too religious

Jeremiah was imprisoned and Lazarus was dead!

Each rose to the call of GOD.

HE can use you to your full potential, besides you aren't the message,
you're the messenger

Lost Treasure 07/24/2011

This is a transcript of the message "Lost Treasure" that was preached on Blog Talk Radio.

Lost Treasure

preached by Rev. Robert DeZee

Today's message come from the Matt 10:29-31

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father:  but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

There are some of you out there today that may have suffered a tradegy in your life, and don't know what to do next. There some out there may have lost their spouse, a job, or your home has been foreclosed on. Yet you have walked with God in the past, but don't know what to do now. Then there are those that haven't yet experienced God's love, and question whether it is real or not. This message has been designed for you. Today's message is Lost Treasure. According to the dictionary there are several definitions of the word lost. One says lost means to no longer be found, while another definition for lost means ending in defeat. The one we are focusing on today says the word lost means to have gone astray. Over the course of time, many people have and will come to know Jesus and many will fall away. The Bible says that in the end times there will come a great falling away. These are people that have seen and known the power that is in the name of Jesus, but their faith has been shattered. They are now lost. Maybe it was by the talk of a divorce, that they prayed so that it would not occur, but the marriage still ended. Or maybe a circumstance that is surrounding them and they don't understand why it is happening to them. The adversary is working overtime these days because he knows that his time is running out. He is busy lying to people teling them that God does not care anymore for them, and they should do what they want to do. People will say, "I don't think God wants to help", he hasn't answered a single prayer. God still answers prayers, but in his own season. We want God to give us the answer right then, we don't have the patience to wait. So, God lets us walk away, because he has given us our own free will. God is standing in a lot of places right now, because so many of you left the faith due to the tradegy you endured. Not realizing that it was the grace of God that help you get through it. You have lost your first love. But my friend God has never stopped loving you, and never will.

The Bible declares in the book of John that God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Many people often ask, "why did God give up his son?" The next verse answers that question; For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

It is the Lord's desire to see everyone saved from the laws of sin, and have eternal life. The devil does not want you to hear and understand the truth in God's word. The Bible says that at the moment the word of God is given, the devil comes to steal that word away, that was planted, before it can take root. The devil knows, if it ever takes root, he is in trouble. But he will try to pervert everything he can to win as many to his cause as he can. But the thing to remember and realize is, the devil has an ending point, his time is drawing to an end. Why would anyone, if they know what the Bible says, why would they want to serve someone or something that has a definite end. God on the other hand has no ending point, he is from ever-lasting to ever-lasting, ever-lasting.

The Bible tells us that in the beginning God created. The devil had nothing to do with it. God made the heavens and the earth and all that are in them, and on the sixth day he created man and woman to care for the earth and commune with God. God had each one of us in mind, before the world was created. The Bible tells us that God was pleased with all that he created, because he saw that it was good. We are part of that creation and he is pleased. God made us in his own image, and since he is not in bad shape, he does not see us that way. Most times, the sickness or infirmity we have is brought on by a thing called generational curse. People say, It happened with so-and-so, and I'm the next in line, so I got it. People speak it out, not understanding that the bible says, whatsoever a man speaks, so he is. We need to understand, we have the power of life and death in our tongues.

In God's eyes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and by his stripes we are healed. It is up to us if we accept it and confess it. Since Jobs day, the devil has been allowed to come against the body, but God always gives us a way of escape from that situation. Now because of the situation or circumstance we are going through, does not mean God has left us alone. The Lord declared in the Old Testament book of Joshua that “No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

If at times you feel worthless or of little value, remember that God made you for a good reason. That reason will be revealed to you when God gets ready to do it. You can't rush God. You may think that God has forgotten you or does not care for you like he used to, but be assured that his love does not end. God proves that all through his word. If you say you believe in God, then believe in his word. When God says he is your healer, then he is. That is what everyone needs to confess to God that he is. God cares for each one of us, and loves us so much. We are priceless in his sight. The dictionary says that word treasure means any thing or person greatly valued or highly prized. We are His treasure. We are his children, and we are the apple of His eye.

Ladies and gentlemen as today's text declares in Matthew the Almighty God has his eyes on the sparrow. He sees each being of his creation and takes note of them when they fall. But he said, you are of more value then they are. You are a special gem in the eyes of the Lord. God cares for you so much that even the very hairs on your head are numbered.

He said "fear not" you are valueable to him. You are a highly prized treasure. God cares for you, he loves you and loved you enough to allow Jesus to die on a cross to prove it. God has not forgotten about you, that is why he has people like us come in to you and bring the word of life. To encourage and strengthen you and let you know you are his lost treasure. He has been on a quest your whole life trying to get to see you are a special gem to Him.

Ladies and Gentlemen the Bible declare in the book of Hebrew 13:8 that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.

God never changes, never has, never will. This means that everything about him is unchangeable. God will not lift you up to let you fall. But we do have our own will. That is a gift he has given and he says that it is up to us how we use it. If you choose to follow him, he is happy. If you choose to wait, he is patient (but just don't wait too long, because the time is running out). God will still love mankind up to the time, but not after, when he says "depart from me, I know you not". God wants you to be with him, where there is eternal peace and comfort. God owns everything and he wants you to have all that he has to offer, and if you have received Jesus as you personal Savior, you have become his child. He calls you heir to his kingdom and joint-heirs with Christ. So everything Christ has, you have. This is saying that he cares more for you than you could ever imagine. Are you one of the Lord's lost treasures?

Today what keeps you from realizing you are the Lord's prized treasure, and confessing Jesus Christ as your savior? Is it fear? Is it your pride? Have you fallen away from him, and fear he won't accept you again? All that you need to understand today is that Jesus loves you and died for you. You are not here by accident You may have come to worship with us to just see what this would be all about. You thought you were coming here out of curiousity, but you are at a divine crossroads where Jesus is ready to step into your life. He wants to bring you into His royal family, and show everyone that you are His lost treasure. If you don't know if you will go to heaven or if you have a relationship with Jesus Christ then please pray with me. I am not asking that you join a church or that you leave the church you already belong to. The bibles says that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation I am simply asking if you want to have a greater relationship with God, then please pray with me. Repeat after me:

Dear God, I have made mistakes and I confess that I have sinned. I believe that Jesus paid the price for my sins, and shed His Blood for me. I invite you, Jesus into my heart and my life to be my Savior in Jesus' name. Amen

For those of you that have prayed that prayer with me I would like to welcome you into the family of God. Before we leave today we will be available to anyone who feels the need for prayer.

As we close, let me remind you that God loves you, and so do we. May the blessings of the Lord be with you, until we meet again.

Today is the day the Lord has made, and we shall be glad. We shall rejoice in it. Today is Pentecost Sunday. 50 days after Jesus' death, resurrection that God poured His spirit on the disciples. Peter preached his first sermon, and 3000 people became Christians.

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance Acts 2:1-4 (KJV)

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:14-21 (KJV)

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.  37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. Acts 2:35-41 (KJV)

If don't know if you will go to heaven? If you didn't ever realize God is real and loves you. Then simple call out to him today. He will come into your heart, and make you a new person. You will experience a life with joy and peace no matter what you are going through.

Simply pray -

‎"Lord I believe that Jesus died for my sins, and mistakes. No Jesus come into my heart, and my life. Be my savior today in Jesus' name Amen"

It is that simple friend. Don't let this Pentecost Sunday pass without seeking the Lord. He loves you, and does want to see you perish. Today is the day the Lord has made for you to reach out to Him!

Today is the day he wants to show you His love for you! Pentecost Sunday is the day He wishes to endue you with power to become His child. The day He wishes to love you, and bless you with His favor in your life.

24/7 Prayer of Faith 05/29/2011

A great friend of MorningStar Christian Church, Mr. Ali Nagi, has started a prayer chain. He requested to have it placed on our Church website in the hopes that fellow believers would be moved by the Lord to participate. We are praying for a high school classmate, a father, and a military veteran. His name is Pete Sudol, and he is 43 yrs old. Pete has been diagnosed with throat cancer. He has undergone chemo, radiation, and several surgeries. The doctors have given up hope, but we know that when no one else can help God will step in. This Church believes in prayer, and divine healing. We know that healing is a promise given to every believer, so we are lifting Pete before the Lord in prayer seeking His favor in the situation. The prayer chain started May 28th, and will continue for the next 7 days, All we ask is that you lift Pete before the Lord for a 1/2 hr everyday, as we seek the Lord on Pete's behalf for total healing.
Thank you for your prayers, and support. We give all the glory to God for the miracle Pete will receive.

If have a particular 1/2 time slot that you will be praying for Pete please email Ali Nagi with the information at

Be God's Voice! 02/12/2011

Be God's voice today!

You know we get so caught up in man's interpretation of the things of God that we become prideful. Do you realize the first New Testament preacher was a woman, and she had no degree or title. Mary Magdalene was the first at the tomb to see that Jesus was risen. She ran to everyone she knew proclaiming He is risen as He said. Yes, the first preacher was a woman! Matthew was a tax collector. James, John, Andrew, and Simon were fishermen. These men had no seminary degree they just listened to command of the Lord to go make disciples! Peter denied the Lord 3 times, had no degree, no title, but preached his first sermon and 3000 souls were saved.

When you are saved you are called to be a witness of God's love. Speak to someone today of His grace. Declare that today is the day I will work for the Lord.

"Today I will tell someone of God's love. Today I will be God's voice!"

As with all things there is a time to stand still, and a time to move. We are excited for a new move of God for this ministry as we evolve into MorningStar Christian Church. Yes, friends the paperwork is being submitted, signs being designed, logos created, membership forms created, Bible studies prepared, sermon outlines prepared, while we continue to seek a place to worship. Although, we feel lead by the Lord to continue to lift a particular place before him in prayer. We are truly thankful for where we have come from, and we are expectantly anticipating a new move of God as we involve into a Church body. We continue to seek you prayers with thanksgiving in our hearts as we seek to advance the Kingdom of God here on Earth.

Be Blessed to Be a Blessing! 01/19/2011

My friends remember the prayer of Jabez in I Chronicles 4:10? Jabez asked GOD to bless him indeed. Now some might think that Jabez prayed a selfish prayer. However, I believe he TRULY wanted to be blessed to 'BE' a BLESSING, so GOD could bless others through him.

Therefore, GOD answered HIS petition because in GOD'S sight Jabez had the right desire in his heart. He did not want to be a pain to anyone or cause anyone grief. Jabez was seeking GOD'S face (and HIS heart)... not HIS hand. And GOD answered Jabez prayer.

If you want to be blessed, and be a blessing to other then include the prayer of Jabez into your prayers.
