As with all things there is a time to stand still, and a time to move. We are excited for a new move of God for this ministry as we evolve into MorningStar Christian Church. Yes, friends the paperwork is being submitted, signs being designed, logos created, membership forms created, Bible studies prepared, sermon outlines prepared, while we continue to seek a place to worship. Although, we feel lead by the Lord to continue to lift a particular place before him in prayer. We are truly thankful for where we have come from, and we are expectantly anticipating a new move of God as we involve into a Church body. We continue to seek you prayers with thanksgiving in our hearts as we seek to advance the Kingdom of God here on Earth.
My friends remember the prayer of Jabez in I Chronicles 4:10? Jabez asked GOD to bless him indeed. Now some might think that Jabez prayed a selfish prayer. However, I believe he TRULY wanted to be blessed to 'BE' a BLESSING, so GOD could bless others through him. Therefore, GOD answered HIS petition because in GOD'S sight Jabez had the right desire in his heart. He did not want to be a pain to anyone or cause anyone grief. Jabez was seeking GOD'S face (and HIS heart)... not HIS hand. And GOD answered Jabez prayer. If you want to be blessed, and be a blessing to other then include the prayer of Jabez into your prayers. The Greatest man in History, Jesus Christ. Born in a stable, not a palace. He had no servants, yet they called him Master. He had no college or seminary degree, yet they called him Teacher. He had no medical background or medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. He IS the reason for the season. Thank God today for the Greatest Christmas present the world has received - Jesus! The King of Kings, The Lord of Lords, The Savior of the World. To all our friends and followers we wish you a "Merry Christmas", and pray that you will have a Blessed New Year with health, peace, and prosperity in Jesus' name! - Rev. DeZee This is the official transcript from our internet radio broadcast on BlogTalk Radio Today's message comes from the 23rd Psalm. This is a beginning of a series I will be teaching from this Psalm as the Lord leads. Today we will focus on verses 1, and 2 Today's message - “Return to the Pasture” Today's text is found in Psalm 23. 1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. The 23rd Psalm is a classic Psalm that many may know. Others may have heard it at a Memorial service or Funeral. Ladies and Gentlemen, many of you may have never allowed this Psalm to reach your soul. It has a deep meaning for all us Christians. King David the writer of the Psalm shows us his confidence in the Lord's grace, and love. What is amazing is that David was a shepherd himself who lived before God' redemptive love was shown to us through Jesus' death, and resurrection yet he trusted in the love of God boldly. Let us look at verse one again. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. David declared that the Lord is his shepherd. What does that mean, Pastor? Why do we need a shepherd? A shepherd would guide his sheep, he would feed them, and protect them. A shepherd had to protect his flock from predators that come to kill, and destroy his sheep. He also had to guide them from pasture to pasture to see that their bodies were feed. The shepherd other responsibility was to gather in the sheep that would wander away from the flock. David knew that in his lifetime the one person who could guide him, feed him and protect him was the Lord. How wonderful that is for us to realize that when we don't know what to do or where to go for help all we have to is call on the Lord. Just like David did. As Christians we need realize that the Lord is our Shepherd and we are his flock. Are you one of his sheep that has wandered away? The Lord calling you today to come back down to the pasture. He loves you, and wants to show you his love if you let him be your Shepherd. Ladies and Gentlemen, brothers and sisters, King David declares in that same verse “ I shall not want”. What an awesome confidence to have not only realizing that the Lord will guide your steps, but he will meet our every need. As Christians we will never need anything. God shall meet all our needs. The Apostle Paul declared the same thing in Phillipians 4:19. Paul said,“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus”. Ladies, and Gentlemen what an awesome promise for us as believers to realize we should never lack anything. We don't have to go hungry, without clothes, without a home, without a mate, or without a job. All we have to do is go to the Lord with same boldness, and confidence just like David did. Let's look at the first part of verse 2. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. Ladies and Gentlemen notice here that David declares that the Lord will make him to lie down in green pastures. Notice that they are green, which means that they are abundant, healthy, and full of life.. David is confident that the pastures where the Lord leads him are not dried up, and dead. The Lord is not blessing him to abide in a desert, but in an environment that will cause his life to blossom into an abundance of blessings. Are you struggling today with your job? Is money tight? Do you wonder where you will get your next bite to eat? Ladies, and gentlemen all you have to do is go to the Lord boldly, believing that your heavenly Father will meet every need. The Bible declare that if we seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness all things will be added unto us. So, you lost your job, you can't pay your utility bills. Your family wants to walk out on you. You think you life is over. Wait one minute, friend. All is not lost. Return to the pasture. Seek the Lord while he may be found. Ladies, and gentlemen realize that he is your shepherd, and his the source of your strength. Seek him, seek his righteousness! Your heavenly Father loves you, and doesn't want you to go with out. When you were a kid, and you were hungry you asked your parents for something to eat. When you are sick you ask the doctor for help. So, why haven't you called on God to meet your need right now. In Isaiah 40:10-11 the prophet declares that the coming Christ will be our shepherd. Isaiah says, “Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. 11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.” In the gospel of John chapter 10 verse 11 Jesus declares “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” Have you felt like giving up? Do you feel unloved, unappreciated, and like you can't make through another day? Have you ever considered asking the Lord to be your shepherd. All you have to do is return to the pasture. Please close your eyes for a moment. God sent his son to shed His blood for your sins, and mine. He paid the price for all the mistakes we will make in this life. He loves us, and wants to have a relationship with each and everyone of you no matter where you are in your life, whether you are an alcoholic, or a gambler. You are not here by accident. You are at a divine crossroads where Jesus is ready to step into your life, and bring you into His royal family. It is his desire for you to be his sheep, and he will be your shepherd. If you don't know if you will go to heaven or if you have a relationship with Jesus Christ then please pray with me. I am not asking that you join a church or that you leave the church you already belong to. The bibles says that if you believe Jesus is the son of God, and died for you sins that if you confess him with your mouth you will be saved. I am simply asking if you want to have a greater relationship with God, then please pray with me. Repeat after me: Dear God, I have made mistakes and I confess that I have sinned. I believe that Jesus paid the price for my sins, and shed His Blood for me.I invite you, Jesus into my heart and my life to be my Savior and my Shepherd in Jesus' name. Amen For those of you that have prayed that prayer with me I would like to welcome you into the family of God. I want to let you know that you are now one of His sheep, and that the walk you just started on will bless you beyond anything you may ask or think. Get yourself in a good bible based Church, and learn of God's love for you. Ladies and Gentlemen thank you for listening today. May God cause his face to shine upon you, and bless you. You may he grant you peace until we meet again. God Bless You. If you have a prayer request or praise report you can email us at morningstarchristianministry@gmail.com. The Roman road is found in the New Testament book of Romans. 1. Rom. 3:10: "As it is written, 'There is none righteous, not even one...'" 2. Rom. 3:23: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." 3. Rom. 5:12: "Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned." 4. Rom. 6:23: "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." 5 Rom. 5:8: "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." 6 Rom. 10:9-10: "if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." 7. I pray that you will be blessed beyond your wildest dreams" - In His Service - Rev. Robert DeZee Help Wanted: Seeking Ambassadors for F/T employment with great benefits, and with a fun, energetic lifestyle. Are you looking for a fun, and energetic job? Would you like an important position, instead of just an ordinary job? Would you like to be an Ambassador? As believer's in God we are commanded by the Apostle Paul to walk in love. Right now is the time to be counted as an Ambassador of Love. Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen God is calling us forth in His Army as Ambassadors. We are not only to be witnesses of His grace, and blessings put the Bible declares that we are to live a life of love. Lets look at the Book of Ephesians chapter 5 verses 1 and 2. Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. We see here in theses verses that we are commanded to live a life of love. How do we do that? The Bible declares that we are to love like Jesus loved us. He gave his life for us. Pastor are you saying we need to die to show that we live a life of love? Absolutely not! What they Apostle Paul is saying that we need to show love by giving of our selves in love. 1 John 3:18 says “Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.” We must give our lives to loving one another. Love is a choice. We must choose to just do it. We must think about it, we must say it, and we must show love in our actions. Let's take a minute to see what the Bible says about love. Let's look at 1st Corinthians the 13th chapter. We are all familiar with this, because it is commonly referred to as the Love Chapter. Let's pick it up at verse 4. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Here we see that when we are to walk in love by being kind to one another, and be patient with all those that we love. That is not an easy task I know. We all encounter people that push our buttons. They make kindness, or patience difficult to say the least. As children of God we are to do it anyway, and when we love someone who makes this difficult we are not to be proud that we accomplished the task. We are to be humble. We should thank the Lord for using us as an Ambassador of Love We see in Colossians the 3rd chapter verses 12 thru 14 that we are to clothe ourselves in attitudes of love, and this highlights one of the benefits of being an Ambassador of Love. 12Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Yes, we are to clothe our selves in these attributes. If we walk in love, and clothe ourselves in love of God we find peace in our lives. Even though you may have differences with your friends or co-workers you will find a spirit of unity among because of being clothed in love. We are to live, move, and breath as vessels of love. The Bible declares that God is love, and it says that we were created in the image of God. Friends this means we have the nature of love in our genes. We must allow our divine nature to shine, and be Ambassadors of Love. We are the visible hands, and feet of God our heavenly Father on this earth. We must be an example of the love of God. I know that this is not easy, because people can certainly make it challenging for all us. It must be done. The only way some people we see or believe in God is by the love we as Christians show them. Will you be an Ambassador of Love today? In His Service - Rev. Robert DeZee We have just received word that we will be blessed with a building to use , and will be able to move in May 1st. We are expecting to offer our regular worship services in June 2010. Stayed tune for the times. We are now on Face Book. We invite you to fan us. MorningStar Christian Ministry May God Bless you this today, and keep in the palm of His loving hand. - Rev. DeZee This is the original transcript of our live Good Friday service on blogtalk radio, The Dawn of Destiny by Rev. Robert DeZee Today's text: Matthew 27:27-54 with reference to John 19 Think of the thousands of days since the creation of the world. Is it possible that any day stands out above the rest? During this time of year we celebrate two days. One is the dawn of destiny known as Good Friday. This is the day that Jesus Christ died. The other day is Resurrection Sunday , otherwise known as Easter. Today I would like to speak about the death of a King, which was the dawn of destiny for mankind. Ladies and Gentlemen, Imagine in your mind the dawn of destiny that begins with the humiliation of Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus was brought to trial before Pontius Pilate as an ordinary criminal. He was sentenced to death. Close your eyes, and see this unfold in your mind as I give you the description of how Jesus was humiliated as the prophets foretold. Jesus had been whipped beyond belief and condemned to die. He was weak and weary from the beating. In that period of time the punishment was so severe that many victims of scourging died from the beating alone. Pieces of bone and rock were often sewn into the strands of leather that made up the whip. When the lashes made contact with the skin it literally ripped it open -- often to the bone. But this would not be the end of Jesus' humiliation. He had to endure more for us. In verse 27 we find that Jesus was taken back into the palace of Pontius Pilate after being scourged. Then all the Roman soldiers gathered around Jesus to further humiliate Him . The Bible says that Jesus was stripped of His clothes and a scarlet robe was placed upon Him. The clothes they removed were literally nothing more than bloody rags. They pierced his scalp with crown of jagged thorns, and then placed a reed in His hand. They mocked and laughed at him as King. They cried “Hail King of the Jews! Ladies and Gentlemen, Then they spat in the face of Jesus, and struck him over the head with the reed he had in hand. It wasn't a tap on the head, they literally beat him over the head driving the thorns farther into His scalp. The One who had left heaven and become a man was treated in a way that is almost impossible for us to imagine Finally, they ripped the robe of him, and put His own bloody clothes back on Jesus and led Him away to His death. Ladies and Gentlemen, Brothers and Sisters Imagine for a minute what Jesus endured? Jesus was so weakened from the beating that He could not bear the weight of the cross. Simon of Cyrene was forced to help him carry the cross. Nails were driven into Jesus’ hands and feet. Possibly a small seat was placed on the cross for Him to straddle in order to prolong His agony. The seat was higher than the appropriate height for sitting so that the victim had to push up on the nail in the feet to reach the seat to find relief in breathing. But in time the victim would slip off of the seat again and the process would repeat itself until the victim was too weak to reach the seat and find relief in breathing. Eventually the victim died by suffocation. It was a cruel and painful death. They gambled for Jesus’ clothes (v. 35). His few worldly belongings were disposed of in this miserable manner. As the scriptures foretold by the Old Testament prophets. Jesus lips were dry, and had a thirst were he could barely even talk. We are told that Jesus was offered a wine mixture that had been said to contain hyssop or gall. This was an ancient painkiller. Jesus would not accept this drink. Jesus did not seek to escape either physically or mentally what was happening to Him. He was prepared to experience the penalty of your sin and mine to the fullest. The Bible declares in the book of John that Jesus would not drink this wine mixture, but after it touched His lips he cried “ it is Finished”. You are probably thinking Pastor what does that mean “it is finished”? Our punishment for our failures, and sin was over. The death of Jesus brought an end to what we deserve for our disobedience to the laws of God Jesus suffered physically by the beating and crucifixion he endured. Jesus suffered verbal abuse by being mocked as what they believed to be a false King . Jesus endured deep spiritual pain in depths which we cannot fathom. He cried out in pain using the words found in Psalm 22:1. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? This cry came at the end of 3 hours of darkness. Jesus experienced the darkness and complete alienation of mankind from God in that moment. Jesus suffered for us the death we deserve as sinful people. Ladies and Gentlemen, The glorious result of the death of Jesus Christ is the dawn of destiny for mankind. We are no longer separated from God. This glorious result was signified in the tearing apart of the thick veil in the Temple that separated the people from the Most Holy Place. The veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. For the first time in history the separation between God and mankind has been removed. We were given access to God. Each one of us can choose to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ! Death and the Grave have been conquered. Jesus has experienced the worst life can bring and He triumphed over it all! Like the Roman centurion, you can see for yourself through God’s Word by what Jesus did for us, and how much He loves us. Upon seeing this, one of the Roman guards confessed Jesus by saying, "Truly this was the Son of God." Today on this Good Friday what keeps you from confessing Jesus Christ as your savior? Is it fear? Is it your pride? All that you need to understand today is that Jesus loves you and died for you. You are not here by accident. You are at a divine crossroads where Jesus is ready to step into your life, and bring you into His royal family. If you don't know if you will go to heaven or if you have a relationship with Jesus Christ then please pray with me. I am not asking that you join a church or that you leave the church you already belong to. The bibles says that if you believe Jesus is the son of God, and died for you sins that if you confess it with your mouth you will be saved. I am simply asking if you want to have a greater relationship with God, then please pray with me. Please pray this prayer out loud: Dear God, I have made mistakes and I confess that I have sinned. I believe that Jesus paid the price for my sins, and shed His Blood for me. I invite you, Jesus into my heart and my life to be my Savior in Jesus' name. Amen For those of you that have prayed that prayer with me I would like to welcome you into the family of God. The result of that day is the dawn of destiny for you and I! When now have eternal life through the death of Jesus of Nazareth, the King of Kings! As we celebrate Palm Sunday today, God wants us to prepare a way for him this holy week. On Palm Sunday the crowds stood along side the road as Jesus came into the city. They were crying, " Hosanna, Blessed be the Lord", but a few days later when Jesus was on trial for His life in front of Pontius Pilate they were nowhere to be found. The crowds that supported Him left. As we enter in this Holy week we are to not be like that crowd. We are to prepare a way for the Lord. We are to conscience of His love, and sacrifice. We are to prepare a way for the Lord in our thoughts, on our prayers, and in our actions. We must remember that He died for our failures, weakness, and sins. He was an innocent lamb that paid the price for our failures. We must " prepare ye a way for the Lord". As we celebrate Good Friday, and Easter Sunday we must be conscience of the fact that could easily be us standing before the Roman soldiers. Jesus was innocent, but we are guilty of sin. We could be standing there feeling the whips lacerate our flesh. We could be feeling the pain, and our blood gush from our bodies. We deserve to feel the pain as our hands, and feet are penetrated with rusty nails. Our sides could have been pierced due to our failures, BUT God loved us so much that Jesus died for us! We must be conscience of this in our thought, and actions. We must " prepare ye the way of the Lord". We must be thankful, and worship Him for who He is. We must worship Him, because He is our loving heavenly father. This will be a new beginning if we prepare a way for Him. I feel in my spirit that God is saying to us today to prepare a way for Him. People often say January is the beginning of a new year, memorial day is a celebration of the beginning of spring, and the 4th of July is the beginning of summer. I believe God is saying to us today that this will be no normal Easter celebration, but the beginning of a new manifestation of His presence in our lives. We must prepare a way for him. We must worship our savior in our thoughts, in our deeds, and our actions. We must exalt our risen savior this Easter. It has been said, and is true, " When praises go up, blessings come down" ! So exalt him this Holy week, and see His blessings come down into your life. - in His service - Rev. Robert DeZee I received this in an email from Richard Pancoast. We both are members of True Grace Christian Ministers Association, and I thought I would pass it on for all of you to be blessed. Three Bullets *With God all things are possible*-Matthew 19:26 There once was a man who had nothing for his family to eat. He had an old rifle and three bullets. So, he decided that he would go out hunting and kill some wild game for dinner. As he went down the road, he saw a rabbit. He shot at the rabbit and missed it. The rabbit ran away. Then he saw a squirrel and fired a shot at the squirrel but missed it. The squirrel disappeared into a hole in a cottonwood tree. As he went further, he saw a large wild 'Tom' turkey in the tree, but he had only one bullet remaining. A voice spoke to him and said, 'Pray first, aim high, and stay focused. However, at the same time, he saw a deer which was a better kill. He brought the gun down and aimed at the deer. But, then he saw a rattlesnake between his legs about to bite him, so he naturally brought the gun down further to shoot the rattlesnake. Still, the voice said again to him, 'I said, 'Pray, Aim high, and Stay focused.' So, the man decided to listen to God's voice. He prayed, then aimed the gun high up in the tree, and shot the wild turkey. The bullet bounced off the turkey and killed the deer. The handle fell off the gun, hit the snake in the head, and killed it. And, when the gun had gone off, it knocked him into a pond. When he stood up to look around, he had fish in all his pockets, a dead deer, and a turkey for his family to eat. The snake (Satan) was dead simply because the man listened to God. Moral of the story: Pray first before you do anything, aim and shoot high in your goals, and stay focused on God. Never let others discourage you concerning your past. The past is exactly that, 'the past.' Live every day one day at a time, and remember that only God knows our future, and that He will not put you through any more than you can bear. Do not look to man for your blessings, but look to the doors that only He has prepared in advance for you in your favor. Wait, be still, and patient: keep God first, and everything else will follow. Pass this on in order that someone else might be blessed. FROM ONE FRIEND TO ANOTHER Don't worry about tomorrow, God is already there!!! | Rev. Robert DeZee
