We are excited that you are here. We don't take it for granted, and realize that it was by a move of the Spirit of God in your life that brought you here. We hope to be a blessing to you, and yours as we share with you the love of God.
This is the internet home of MorningStar Christian Church, which is based in the Youngstown, Ohio area. We are a non-denominational Christian congregation that lights the way for the believer to the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We welcome all people of all Christian denominations to fellowship with us as we exalt our Savior.
At MorningStar Christian Church, our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. We are a life-giving, multicultural church and our goal is to infuse life and God's love into people and families through engaging, powerful worship services that offer biblical truth in relevant and practical ways.
Together, we're striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there's relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. In short, we'd like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time.
We are praying for a building to use when the Lord sees fit to offer His blessing. Until then MorningStar Christian Church has an outreach ministry that shares the good news of God's love through Jesus Christ. We serve the Lord through worship with song, preaching, bible studies, and fellowship.
Our Ministries include our LightHouse Seniors Ministry( our nursing home ministry), Hospital Visitation Ministry, Our Online Ministry, and Youngstown Wedding Ministers (our wedding ministry).
If you would like one of our ministers to visit a loved one in a nursing home or hospital setting, then feel free to contact us today. We love to not only visit them, but lift them up in prayer.
If you are a management person such as a nursing home administrator, or director of nursing that would like us to visit your nursing home then don't hesitate to contact us.

Church Building Fund
This year is the year the Lord has made, and His vision shall come forth. We will begin our plans to launch our weekly church services as the Lord leads in the fall of 2011. We are expectantly waiting for His blessings as we have heard of a place we believe He wishes for us to use to worship Him.We have met with the owners, and have come to an agreement. We have started our Church Building Fund, so that we can make a deposit on our New Church Building. We would like to offer a thank you to all our Church family that has contributed to our Church Building Fund through their sincerest prayers, and support. We are excited that the Lord's plan is coming forth, and we continue to keep an eye on the property he chosen for us to use to worship Him.
